200 and Counting With Steve Delamater on Late Night
On Wednesday August 17, 2011, 8pm-11pm/PST on Swoop’s World Late Night we are celebrating our 200th Broadcast! We’ll start off the night by welcoming our guest singer/songwriter Steve Delamater. After Steve, we’ll be taking on all topics, recapping some of our past shows and of course our regular Brewskis, sports, and any other news of the day segments. Tune in at Swoopsworld.com.
Steve Delamater is from Pasadena, Ca. and started playing guitar when he was 13 years old. “I started writing songs and riffs about a year later,” says Steve. In high school he was influenced by a variety of artists including Brian Eno, the Pixies, and Tom Waits.
“When I started as a musician I thought of myself mainly as a guitarist, but soon I began singing and writing real songs; some more intricate, some nostalgic, and some just plain goofy. I’ve played at several wine bars and coffee shops in the LA area – my favorite of which being the Coffee Gallery in Altadena, CA., where I got my start as a performer.”
After our interview with Steve Delamater we’ll be up to all of our usual fun including beer tasting, sports and food during “Brewskis” Beer Tasting sponsored by DrinksWinesSpirits.com, Taylor’s segment of T-Bones Timeout, and Chris’ CLiv’s Real Estate Report.
This week on “Brewskis” Beer Tasting sponsored by DrinksWinesSpirits, we are tasting Sum’r Organic Summer Ale From Four+ Brewing Company, Salt Lake City, Utah.
