The Lost Hours
Art Zavala and Brynne Filer met at Cafe Etc in 2010, started playing music on the sidewalk and decided what they heard was the sound they wanted to make. They began performing in local bars, cafe open mics, bookstores, clubs, fashion shows and private parties around Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. In 2011 they obtained a two month residency at the Viper Room on the infamous Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, a three month residency at local Long Beach coffee shop Sipology, and were briefly in conjunction with a small music label. They have played at venues in San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York and have become involved with local coalitions and organizations such as Green Long Beach and Lights Out. These experiences further strengthened their identity as musicians and in late Feburary of 2012 they came up with the name The Lost Hours and have self produced their first EP to be released this fall.
After our interview with The Lost Hours, we’ll be up to all of our usual fun including “Brewskis” Beer Tasting sponsored by DrinksWinesSpirits.com, sports talk, rants and more.
This week we’ll be tasting Loon Golden Ale by Woodstock Inn Brewery located in Woodstock, New Hampshire.
